So, you think you have a great idea, huh? And what's this? You say you want to know where you can meet up with these cool, hip people working together to build a better community? Well, you have several options available!
As always, Gulf Coast TIDE encourages you to participate as actively as possible in the organization. Join a committee, volunteer with an event and if you're up to the task, become a board member!
First Thursday Socials
Not everyone was meant to be on stage, but you are more than welcome to join us for our monthly social meetings, cleverly named, First Thursday Socials (that's not so difficult to forget).
Once a month, and as the name implies, on the first Thursday, a medium-to-large group of concerned citizens and active members come together to network, communicate and just have a good time. This gathering does not have a formal agenda, but is simply a time to enjoy each other's company and catch up with all that is going on. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to bring friends and family.
Traditionally, First Thursday Socials have occurred at various restaurants. Currently, our meetings are held at Panda China Buffet located at 830 E. Gregory Street, Downtown Pensacola. Socials start at 6:30 and last until everyone goes home. Please plan to join us at our next meeting!
Group Activities
Many times, our members will put together their own social meetings. These meetings vary depending on the person heading it up, but you can enjoy various activities such as ballroom dancing classes or the LGBT bowling league. Check our current listing of programs for more information on these group projects.
