Pensacola Pride Fest

Pensacola Pride FestgcTIDE actively plans and executes several community and education-based projects. One such event, the Pensacola Pride Fest, formerly the ComeOutPensacola! Festival, is an annual, education project that welcomes artists, activists and diversity from the surrounding community.

The Pensacola Pride Fest is about fulfilling gcTIDE's mission of education and awareness, but also acts as main fundraiser with proceed going back into educational programs and iniatives. The festival, with over an estimated 1,000 in attendance from previous years, is our opportunity to host a public outdoor event for LGBT members of the community as well as their straight allies, friends and family, providing an occasion for all to socialize and enjoy the day while taking pride in their lives.

The event, which lasts four days, brings together various businesses and organizations, coordinating several "mini-events," all leading up to the main weekend festival where over 100 vendors and artisans feature their wares; all while showcasing their public support.

Pensacola Pride FestThis year marks a premier, as this will be the first ever official pride festival in Pensacola's history. gcTIDE had seen many adversities in executing this festival in the past, including nearly being shut down by the City Council. As a result, gcTIDE was even more motivated to make sure this event was a success.

gcTIDE and its partners invite you to participate in this year's Pensacola Pride Fest. Please join us for the main festival in Historic Seville Square and Bartram Park in Downtown Pensacola on October 13 and 14. You can download a full event program below.
